Diary
The Diary contains events created automatically from Sage 50 Accounts or manually created by the user. Events are filtered per user so you can only see the events that you have created or that are assigned to you. If you are logged in using the Manager login you will be able to see all events and change the user assigned to an event.
Chase Debt/Manage Payments window
A new credit control view for customers and suppliers has been created for this release. These are called Chase Debt for your customers and Manage Payments for your suppliers. There are several filters that can be applied that allow you to filter the window to show the information that you want to see when dealing with credit control. A wide range of information is available using the configurable columns. Filters have been added to show who you need to chase and who to send letters and statement.
Customer and Supplier contacts
Do you have many contacts per customer or supplier? The improvements made allow you to store several contacts per customer/supplier. These can be used to send letters to different contacts or invoices to head office or branches.
Communication History
The communication history for each customer/supplier is stored in the customer/supplier record. Letters, telephone conversations and meetings may all be logged in the communications tab.
Improved Dashboard
The customer and supplier dashboards have been improved to show more information regarding your customers/suppliers. You can drill to more detail in all areas in the dashboard by clicking on the appropriate area.
Bank Reconciliation improvements

• Running totals for selected items • Book balance • Resizable window for the split. • Configurable columns • Multi select in the matched transaction window • Transaction number included by default • Customer reference can be added

Improvements have been made to the Cash Flow window to make it easier to see where your money comes from. If changes are made to the date range, the Forecast up to automatically recalculates.
Improved Error Correction
Improvements have been made to make the Corrections module easier to use when a mistake happens. It has been made easier to access but retains the same level of control as the previous error corrections module.
Departmental changes
Improvements have been made to the way departments have been referenced. You now have a reference number and a name for each department. Previously there were 3 references for every department (Department ID, reference and name) which made referring to departments inconsistent. Automatic Updates
Automatic updates functionality has been introduced to ensure all available updates are installed. As part of the setup there is a window for configuring your internet options regarding auto updates. This can also be accessed from Internet options from the Tools menu.
Batch Reporting
There are several times in the year where you run several reports at the same time, normally at year end or month end. To help you run reports, batch reporting has been introduced which allows you to select the reports that you want to run together and allows you to run them as one.
EC VAT Descriptions
HMRC rules regarding dealing with VAT on EC Sales require any invoice for an EC country to contain the VAT treatment that would be charged if it was sold to a UK business. This needs to be set up in the product defaults for each product record so the correct tax treatment can be shown in the invoices against each item. For this to be shown, the item line must be set to T4 tax code. Additional invoice layouts have been created to show the text, these have EC VAT Description in the title.
